The above image refers to the push and pull scenario. In 1996 a lot of information / media available on the web was dictated to us by conglomerate institutions (it was largely read only pushed on us). Whereas, presently, the majority of people use the internet to pull the content they want, when they want it. Moreover, a lot of information/ media available is user generated e.g. blogging, youtube (mash ups, home movies etc.), wikipedia. Monday 1 March 2010
